Floating Leisure Cable Netting Hammock • Jendela Residences, KLGCC
Designed for Jendela Residence, KLCCG, this poolside hammock reimagines cable netting beyond its conventional architectural role and transforming it into a functional leisure feature.
Suspended above the water, the Cable Netting hammock creates a relaxed resting zone that feels light and open, yet surprisingly solid underfoot. The system is carefully detailed using selected fittings and tensioned elements, allowing it to support real interaction — whether lounging, sitting, or simply pausing above the pool.
Rather than feeling rigid or industrial, the Cable Netting introduces a sense of playfulness and calm, blending seamlessly with the surrounding water and landscape. Its transparency allows light, air, and movement to flow through, making the hammock feel like an extension of the pool environment rather than an added structure.
This project demonstrates how cable netting can move beyond boundaries and barriers, becoming an experiential element that invites people to engage with space in a new and unexpected way.
